| WEEK 16 |
| QUARTERBACKS - Despite the 40 attempts, Kyle Orton posted another pedestrian effort completing 24 passes for 172 yards. Owners in 2 QB leagues probably don't have better options, but Orton will be extra motivated to keep his job for next season. You can’t help feeling that he’s not fully healthy. Tavaris Jackson only completed 12 passes, but connected on 4 TDs versus Arizona. Matt Cassel is also coming off a 4 TD game as he takes on Arizona in week 16. Trent Edwards is planning on playing even though he is listed as questionable. JP Losman turned is a dismal performance last week, so he's not much of an option if Edwards is out.

| RUNNING BACKS - Tashard Choice performed well in 2 games against tough defenses. He gets another difficult test against Baltimore, but you could do worse for a RB2. Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk can provide some fill-in help and they are still floating around on some waiver wires. Kevin Smith rushed for 88 yards and a TD against the Colts. He's been limited in practice this week, but has a fine matchup versus the Saints. Frank Gore is unlikely to play again. Last week, Deshaun Foster averaged 4.2 yards per carry on his way to a 76-yard day. With the Rams due up next, he’s an average RB2 option if Gore is out. PJ Pope is making inroads into the Broncos backfield; it's still a risky situation.

| WIDE RECEIVERS - Malcolm Floyd caught 5 passes for 67 yards and a TD in Week 15. He is listed as out for week 16 with a collapsed lung, so Craig Davis will likely start opposite Vincent Jackson. Anquan Boldin may be held out this week giving Steve Breaston a decent boost up the weekly rankings. Jason Avant caught 5 passes for 101 yards against Cleveland in week 16. Kevin Curtis is listed as doubtful, so Avant will continue to see some targets. After two sub 40-yard games, Braylon Edwards hauled in 5 passes for 102 yards.

| TIGHT ENDS - Carolina held Tony Scheffler without a catch. It's very hard to trust his sporadic performances. Jeremy Shockey had 1 catch for 11 yards. It broke a string of 5 games with at least 4 receptions. He can get on back on track against Detroit this Sunday.
| KICKERS - Josh Brown’s groin has been bothering over the past few games, but he doesn't expect to miss any time. Josh Scobee missed on his only field goal attempt in week 15. The normally reliable kicker has been very shaky in the last part of the season.
| DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS - The Miami Dolphins have allowed a total of 12 points over their last 2 games. Arizona has a Def/Sp TD in each of the last 2 games. They face a potent New England offense, but Matt Cassel gets sacked often. |
