| WEEK 5 |
| QUARTERBACKS - Kyle Orton threw 3 TDs in the first half against Philadelphia, but disappeared in the second half. This week's game against Detroit provides a good match up for him. Orton has performed well against the Lions in the past, but he hasn't thrown a TD on the road since 11/27/05. Aaron Rodgers will likely be a game time decision. Jennings and Driver loose a bit of value if he can't go. Ryan Fitzpatrick had a terrible performance against Cleveland last week. He threw 1 TD along with 3 INTs and 1 fumble. Carson Palmer is questionable again this week, but is becoming more likely to play. Injuries: : Carson Palmer, Donovan McNabb, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers

| RUNNING BACKS - Deuce McAllister carried the ball 20 times for 73 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers. Even though Minnesota presents a tougher challenge on Monday night, he still should be acquired, especially if you stash him on the bench this week. Willis McGahee was dinged up twice in his last game. He's been limited in practice, so owners have to keep tabs until Sunday morning. His counterpart LeRon McClain has received the goal line attempts scoring 3 times this year. Injuries: Rashard Mendenhall, Adrian Peterson, Brian Westbrook, Laurence Maroney

| WIDE RECEIVERS - The Cardinals' Steve Breaston busted out for 9 receptions for 122 yards in a shootout versus the Jets. If Anquan Boldin is unable to play, Breaston can be a sleeper WR3 for this week with decent upside if Boldin's injury keeps him out longer. The often-injured Reggie Brown returned to catch 6 passes for 79 yards against the Bears. If Brown stays healthy and Kevin Curtis returns, Hank Baskett's value will plummet. Lance Moore is this week's biggest waiver wire pickup. Without Colston & Shockey, he has emerged as the most targeted option in a pass-first offense. The way to get through Minnesota's defense is through the air, so Moore can provide help for this week as well as emerging as a solid fantasy receiver. Injuries: : Devin Hester, Justin Gage, Antonio Bryant, Sidney Rice, David Patten, Brandon Lloyd

| TIGHT ENDS - Owen Daniels caught 7 passes for 87 yards last week. Even when Andre Johnson starts getting hot, Daniels is still a top tier tight end. Randy McMichael broke his leg and may be out for the season. Bo Scaife has 14 targets versus 9 targets for Alge Crumpler. Crumpler may see some more looks come his way, but the split is favoring Scaife so far. Injuries: Dante Rosario, Ben Utecht, Ben Watson

| KICKERS - The Lawrence Tynes/John Carney competition gets another week. There isn't any word on the starter after Tynes returns, but Carney should have the edge. Matt Prater is 3 for 3 on field goal attempts from 50+ yards and John Kasay is 5 for 5 on field goals from 40-49 yards, making them the early season leaders from those distances.

| DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS - After a bye week, the Patriots should find a way to be all over JT O'Sullivan and his league-leading 19 sacks. The Chargers allowed a 9 passing touchdowns this year, the most in the league. The Packers defensive unit is banged-up listing AJ Hawk, Atari Bigby, Nick Collins, and Al Harris all on the injury report. |
