| WEEK 3 |
| QUARTERBACKS - Tyler Thigpen will start for the Chiefs this week. Thigpen is awfully green, so he shouldn't have much of an impact. Carson Palmer struggled for the second straight week as he battled 50 mph winds. This week he faces a tough defense in the NY Giants, so owners may endure another stinker. JT O'Sullivan is a hot property on waiver wires. Having a QB in a Mike Martz offense isn't a bad way to go, especially since the 49ers play the Lions in Week 3. Gus Frerotte takes over in Minnesota for Tavaris Jackson. Jackson was never a solid fantasy producer, so it shouldn’t' be too great of a loss. Frerotte isn’t much better. Injuries: Ben Roethlisberger is listed as probable is appears ready for Philadelphia.

| RUNNING BACKS - Chris Johnson hasn't seen the endzone, but managed to out-carry LenDale White in each game this year. He's making a case for being a quality RB2. Julius Jones had a fantastic game for the receiver-less Seahawks. Without any viable wideouts, Seattle will stay on the ground. Injuries: Darren McFadden, Joseph Addai, Maurice Jones-Drew, and Fred Taylor are listed as probable. McFadden is hurting, so Michael Bush will see his share of carries. Adrian Peterson and Laurence Maroney are questionable. They will be gameday calls.
| WIDE RECEIVERS - Eddie Royal caught a TD in each game this season. If he sticks as the Broncos number 2 receiver, he will certainly provide fantasy value. DeSean Jackson has been stellar in the early going, catching 12 passes for 216 yards on the season. Anthony Gonzalez caught 9 passes last week for 137 yards. If Dallas Clark returns, the number of opportunities will dip. He's still a nice hedge for Harrison and Clark owners. Injuries: Injuries: Sidney Rice and Devin Hester are expected to miss Sunday's games. Laveranues Coles and Braylon Edwards are listed as questionable.
| TIGHT ENDS - The Seahawks’ John Carlson caught 10 passes for 130 yards over 2 games. He’s an option by default. Tony Scheffler hauled in 2 TDs against the Chargers last week. The Broncos will throw this week giving him a chance to score again. Injuries: Jason Witten, Todd Heap, and Dallas Clark are listed as probable.
| KICKERS - Broncos rookie Mike Prater is perfect this year, including a 53 yard bomb. John Carney has fit in well for the Giants. He isn’t a strong as he was in the past, but still appears accurate.
| DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS - The Buffalo Bills have produced a def/st TD this year and have a nice matchup against the Raiders. Green Bay has a much tougher game against the Cowboys. This week, oddsmakers have the over/under at 53, so most are predicting a high scoring game. |
