I know it’s only been a few weeks, but I’m already sick of
Randy Moss and his antics.
We’re not going to rehash all of the controversy that
seemingly surrounds Moss wherever he goes.
There are plenty of places where you can read about his disdain for hard
working, Midwestern, mom & pop restaurants.
We’re just interested in the fantasy ramifications.
1. Randy Moss – Make no mistakes about it, Randy Moss will
behave in Tennessee. It’s not a better
situation than New England or Minnesota for fantasy production, but at least
he’s not sitting out for the rest of the year.
2. Vince Young – Without Kenny Britt, V.Y. could certainly
use some extra help. Although Moss will
fill in nicely as his deep threat, don’t expect some sort of new Titan air
show.
3. Kenny Britt – Speaking of Britt, the Moss acquisition
looks like a sign that Britt will miss significant time. I had to drop him in a league because I was
so desperate for roster space.
4. Chris Johnson -
Tennessee won’t lose their run first mentality, so it’s business as usual along
with the added possibility of having opposing defenses having to spread their
attention.
5. Jeff Fisher – Even though this waiver claim smells like
he wanted to block the Patriots from reacquiring Moss, we still think the move
benefits the Titans. Fisher is
respected and we are confident in his ability to keep Moss quiet.
