The Jerome Harrison – Mike Bell swap between the Browns and
Eagles appears to be a “fit for the system” type of trade.
Cleveland has been smitten with Peyton Hillis’ smash mouth
running style and saw Mike Bell as a better choice for a backup. Harrison hadn’t been playing much and
appeared to be in the doghouse with Mangini (no pun intended), so he will
likely welcome the change.
Harrison is more suitable for Andy Reid’s open West Coast
scheme, and with LeSean McCoy hurting, he may have more opportunity to rotate
into the game.
In the fantasy world, it doesn’t really change either
player’s values much at all. They are
still backups with gimpy starters in front of them who need an injury in order
to produce.
